Authorities said that Nafed had made a support load of 1 lakh ton this year to oversee onion costs. It is practically twofold that of the earlier year.

Nafed had just delivered 43,000 ton from the cushion stock and another 22,000 ton will be offloaded in the main seven day stretch of November.
