Micro weddings and big parties

With digital tools, couples can update and change invitations on the fly instead of sending out apologies to guests or contacting them via alternative means.
Artisanal flower arrangements
Florals have always been part and parcel of traditional weddings on Santorini, but in 2022, Unique & Forever sees designers taking them up a notch. The island is playing host to more weddings with high-impact flower arrangements, including full-scale arbor installations and bespoke artisanal designs in venue reception rooms. Common flower choices include orchids, hydrangeas, and white daffodils.
Weekday weddings
There was once a time that weddings only took place on the weekend in Santorini, but those days now appear to be in the past. Unique & Forever says that couples are increasingly choosing weekday events to lower costs and side-step some of the travel restriction-induced limitations on venue availability. Santorini weddings are now as likely to happen Monday to Thursday as they are Saturday and Sunday.
Nontraditional wedding dresses
Traditional white gowns are becoming a less common sight at wedding ceremonies in Santorini in 2022. Unique & Forever says that it is seeing a rise in nontraditional wedding dresses, particularly pale pink and blue varieties, with various cut-outs and twists on classic styles. Some are even choosing dresses from non-bridal brands.
Upgraded guest experiences
Lastly, Unique & Forever has noticed a shift in couples’ attitudes towards their wedding guests.
