RealOptions will be offering both Middle School and High School Summer Workshops in San Jose and Union City.
The High School program will focus on self-discovery, healthy communication, relationship foundations, sexual health, life mapping, and decision-making with a focus on emotional and social well-being. The goal is to help high school students bridge the gap and recover some of the skills that they may not have picked up while in a virtual learning environment. The program encourages parents who are launching high school seniors (aka incoming college freshmen), to especially consider the benefits of having students exposed to these valuable topics before they reach their college campus.
The Middle School program will focus on self-discovery, holistic health, identifying toxic and healthy friendship characteristics, navigating feelings and behaviors, identifying cultural influences, internet safety, decision making, and goal casting. This is an awesome opportunity to teach tweens some valuable life skills before they face the social pressures of high school. The curriculum is fun, engaging, and interactive!
The team is dedicated to resourcing parents to help raise strong children and build healthy communities. The workshops equip students to make healthy lifestyle choices by empowering them with effective relationship and risk avoidance skills. They will be conducting a total of four workshops in various cities as indicated below:
